A second UK court has denied bail to Nirav Modi. Nirav will remain behind bars for at least six weeks. He is expected to appeal against the order in a higher court. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) today told the UK Court that Nirav had threatened to kill Ashish, a director of one of the group companies owned by Modi and a witness in the bank fraud case. Ashish had refused to accept the Rs 2 million offered by Modi.
