Reliance Capital Q1 results: Standalone net loss widens to Rs 387 crore

Reliance Capital’s standalone net loss widened to Rs 387 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal. The Anil Ambani controlled firm had posted a net loss of Rs 116 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. It logged a net loss of Rs 2,501 crore in the preceding quarter ended March 2020. RCap said it has defaulted in repayment of obligation of lenders and debenture holders and has incurred losses during the period, which indicate that material uncertainty exists that may cast a significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
