Shares of MRF climbed over 2% in intraday trade on BSE on June 30, a day after the company posted over a two-fold surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 679.02 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 293.93 crore for the same period of FY 2018-19. Revenue from operations for the fourth quarter declined year-on-year to Rs 3,685.16 crore from Rs 4,137.67 crore. For 2019-20 fiscal, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,422.57 crore. The company's board recommended a final dividend of Rs 94 per share.
