Indians spend an average 5 hours 16 minutes daily on watching online videos– among the highest in the world. A research report found that most people are turning to online video for new forms of interactive entertainment during coronavirus pandemic. In India, 97.8% people now use video chat to feel more connected and 65.4% use it multiple times a day. Most people (91.7%) have used online video to stay informed by watching live stream speeches and press conferences during the pandemic. Of all the countries surveyed, the lowest viewing hours are in South Korea, followed by France and the UK.
