Premium cold-pressed juice brand RAW Pressery has raised Rs 33.5 crore in a mix of debt and equity from venture debt firm Alteria Capital. This marks Alteria Capital’s first equity co-investment and the fourth investment from its Rs 1,000-crore debt fund. RAW Pressery’s also raised Rs 80 crore from Sequoia Capital, Saama Capital, and DSG Consumer Partners in May and has so far raised over Rs 200 crore in equity and debt. Juices and smoothies form the core business of the firm, which recently introduced categories including nut milk, soups, and probiotic dairy drinks. The company is expanding distribution both domestically and in international markets like the Middle East and Southeast Asia. In FY18, its revenue more than doubled to about Rs 32 crore and is on track to close FY19 with $10 million (about Rs 68 crore) in revenue.
